Saturday September 4th, 2010: Fall Work Day
On Saturday, September 4th, the RRC will be having its Fall Work Day from 8am till noon (4 hours in the morning to avoid the heat of the day). If you're an RRC member, please pencil this date in your calendar. This last Spring, we had an excellent turnout of members help with mowing, weeding, pruning, raking, hauling and various other grounds maintenance projects. In prepartion for the Fall Dressage Show and the Octoberfest Dressage Show, we're planning A MORNING OF SERIOUS WEEDING. Please bring weed-worth (think tackweed) gloves, hoes, weeding forks, and buckets and help us tackle the nasties that annually attempt to take over the place. Remember: the more weeding we do ourselves, the less we have to pay as members for a landscaping service to do it for us. Volunteer hours will be tracked as they were at the Spring Work Day.

Artemis Ridge Riders 4H Club Rides
The Artemis Ridge Riders 4-H Club (Richland and West Richland) meets at the RRC July 2 2:00-4:00 Dressage and Showmanship, July 9 2:00-4:00 Trail and Showmanship, July 16 2:00-4:00 Western and Showmanship, and July 23 2:00-4:00 Hunt or Saddle Seat and Showmanship. Fur-Ever Friends 4H Club Rides

Barnyard Hula-gins 4H Club Rides
The Barnyard Hula-gins meet at the RRC on Wednesday nights at 6:30-8:00. If the club house is available we meet there. If not we meet near our barn in the grass area. The Barnyard Hula-gins are having a Car Wash on 07/31/2010 as a fund raiser at the Jiffy Lube on 395 and 10th ave. Strides Rides
STRIDES is gearing up to start the 2010 season of therapeutic lessons and activities.
LESSON DATES: Lessons will be on Mondays from 5:00-8:30pm through October. We are looking for volunteers that can be scheduled each week OR "on-call" volunteers that can help periodically. Additionally, there are several summer activities planned that volunteers can also participate in (RRC Fun Shows, RRC Halloween Show & STRIDES Year -end Volunteer Apprecitation Day, etc.). Scholarships/sponsorships are needed for some students. If you are able to sponsor a student please contact us for more information. Looking forward to seeing you!
